Choosing the Right uPVC Windows for Your Home

What to Expect on Fitting Day

Our fitting team will arrive at the agreed time and start by protecting your floors and furniture in the rooms being worked on. Removing old frames and fitting new ones creates dust and debris, so we take steps to keep disruption to a minimum. Most standard window installations across a typical house can be completed within a day, though larger jobs or more complex properties may run to two days.

The team works methodically, finishing each window fully before moving to the next. That means your home is never left with open holes overnight. By the time they leave, every window will be fitted, sealed, and fully operational. All old frames and packaging are taken away with them.

You're welcome to be in the house throughout. A lot of customers prefer to be around so they can check progress and ask any questions as the job goes on. Others prefer to let us get on with it. Either approach works for us.

Your 10 Year Guarantee and Ongoing Support

All uPVC windows supplied and fitted by Glasgow Window Company come with a 10 year guarantee covering both the frames and the sealed glass units. If a unit fails and develops internal condensation, or if a frame develops a fault, we'll come back and sort it. You won't be passed between manufacturers and installers trying to work out whose responsibility it is.
